Rattler Academy Soccer Club (RASC) - 2025 Summer Outdoor Season

Welcome to the Rattler Academy Soccer Club (RASC) Summer Outdoor Season! We are excited to offer a dynamic and comprehensive soccer experience for boys and girls aged U9 to U17. Our goal is to foster player development from the ground up, focusing on technical skills, tactical understanding, fitness, and teamwork.

Program Overview

Weekly Training Structure:

  • Team Training Session (1.5 hours):

    • Each team will have one dedicated weekly session with their team coach.

    • Focus on team tactics, structure, communication, and team-building activities.

    • Designed to help teams develop chemistry and understand their playing style.

  • Technical Training Session (1 hour):

    • Teams will be paired with another similar team (e.g., two U9 boys teams or U15 and U17 girls teams) for technical training led by a RASC Technical Lead.

    • Emphasis on fundamental soccer skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, fitness, and coordination.

    • Sessions will include fun, high-energy drills that build confidence and technical precision.

Community House League Scrimmage & Game Day:

  • Teams will join the RASC community/house league Scrimmage and Gameday program.

  • Each team will participate in 8 games, with one game per week over the first eight weeks of the season.

  • Game days are designed to provide a positive, competitive environment where players can apply what they've learned in training.

Development Philosophy

At RASC, we believe in nurturing well-rounded athletes by offering a blend of individual skill development and team-oriented training. From learning the basics to mastering high-end formations and experience-based strategies, our program ensures that players grow in confidence, skill, and love for the game.

Key developmental aspects include:

  • Fundamentals: Ball control, passing accuracy, dribbling techniques, and finishing.

  • Tactical Awareness: Understanding formations, positional play, and game management.

  • Physical Fitness: Agility, coordination, endurance, and injury prevention.

  • Team Dynamics: Communication, leadership, and respect on and off the field.

The full training schedule will be released soon, but families can expect the following weekly structure:

    • 1.5-hour team session on either Monday or Tuesday.

    • 1-hour technical session on either Wednesday or Thursday.
